The Freedom Hub is a NFP working exclusively with survivors of modern-day slavery here within Australia, with the increasing number of their clients expressing interest in forging a career path within the dental industry they are looking to expand their employment pathway program and are seeking new partnerships with dental clinics and professionals.

The Freedom Hub - Who are we?

We are the only referral program within Australia that offers long-term, wrap-around care for survivors of modern-day slavery. We work closely with our survivors, offering a tailored program filled with formal and informal learning opportunities and social events, each specifically curated by a diverse team of professionals to help survivors gain the skills, tools, and courage necessary to rebuild and regain autonomy in their lives.

Our Employment Program - How can you get involved?

As part of our Employment Program The Freedom Hub partners with a select group of companies from a range of professional sectors to be able to offer valuable on-site training and skill development opportunities to our survivors within professional work environments that have been pre-screened, trained in our corporate trauma-informed courses, and whom we have built a trusting relationship with.

These partnerships are designed to offer optimal outcomes for both the employment partner, via prospective staff who are trained in-house and dedicated to their chosen profession, and our survivor by offering a vetted workplace they can be sure is safe, secure, and has a dedicated team member who is both aware of their history and adequately trained to handle any trauma-related issues or complexities that may arise. Our program serves as a conduit between our partner employers and survivors.

We have recently had an influx of survivors expressing interest in dentistry and dental assisting, with some holding existing qualifications from their home country. We would love to broaden the scope of opportunities currently available within our Employment Program and begin working towards a secure partnership, if this is something that interests you, we would love to hear from you!
