Since the launch of the ADA Introductory Dental Practice Accreditation Scheme in July 2012, more than 550 dental practices in NSW and ACT have successfully achieved practice accreditation. Across Australia more than 1800 practice are now enrolled in the scheme.
Accreditation is a nationally recognised, voluntary, profession-led scheme that aims to promote continuous quality improvement. Accreditation leads practices to systematically demonstrate to an independent accreditation agency that the practice is compliant with existing national, state and territory legislation and guidelines.
This course is aimed at dentists and practice staff who are either considering practice accreditation for the first time, or who have recently registered and are looking to begin their accreditation journey. This combined lecture and workshop will enable participants to confidently enroll in and undertake the Introductory Dental Practice Accreditation Scheme.
