Dr. Raj Gaddam had completed his BDS and MDS (Orthodontics) in India in 2007, after which he worked in private practice, a cleft palate clinic and lectured in orthodontics at university. He fell in love with Australia and in 2010 successfully completed the ADC exams, working as a general dentist in northern Tasmania. Dr. Gaddam’s passion for orthodontics saw him return to university to be able to practice in Australia, graduating with D. Clin Dent from the University of Queensland in 2020. His research on the reliability of torque expression by the Invisalign appliance was published in the AOJ in May 2021, and his case report on a unilateral Brodie Bite has recently been accepted for publication in the same journal.
