Dr Mili Doshi received her BDS (Hons) from Guys, Kings and St Thomas’ Dental Institute, London, in 2001. In 2003, she went on to gain Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and completed an MSc in Sedation and Special Care, with Distinction, at Kings College London in 2007. 

Since 2014 Dr Mili Doshi has worked as a Consultant in Special Care Dentistry with Surrey and Sussex NHS Health Care Trust and the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, and prior she was a Senior Dental Officer with Bart’s Health Community Dental Service (formerly Tower Hamlets Primary Care Trust). 

From 2015-2019 Dr Mili Doshi was the Clinical Lead for the Health Education England programme 'Mouth Care Matters',  a program that aims to improve the oral health of hospitalised patients, and in 2018 received an MBE in recognition of her work. 

Dr Mili Doshi was President of the British Society of Gerodontology in 2019 and an author of a
numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and an editor of a book on the oral health of older people.
