Janina Christoforou is an oral medicine specialist who practices the complete scope of oral medicine. She has completed her specialist studies in Western Australia and Janina is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and a Fellow of the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia.

She devotes time to teaching and research as a clinical senior lecturer and research fellow at the University of Western Australia. Janina holds consultant positions at Tertiary Hospitals with appointments in the departments of radiation oncology and paediatric dentistry. Janina additionally works in private practice and she also volunteers her time working with volunteer organisations to provide oral medicine services to those disadvantaged in the community. 

Her special interests include prevention and management of oral cancer and its sequelae, mucosal diseases and orofacial pain.
