Dr Colette Dailey gained her BDS from the University of Sheffield (UK) and a Masters in Periodontology from the University of Liverpool (UK). She undertook various community, hospital and private practice positions before moving to Australia where she worked in both hospital and private practice settings. Colette was also elected to the position of President of the Australian Society of Periodontology (NSW).

Having always harboured an interest in medico-legal and ethical issues Colette initially took a role as a Peer Advisor with ADA NSW. This sparked a true passion for this area and lead to Colette gaining a law degree. Having completed College of Law and worked in private legal practice Colette has since held various roles in a medico-legal advisory capacity and claims management both in Australia and overseas. She also kept her dental interest as a consultant to ADA NSW Centre for Professional Development.
