is a Periodontist in Sydney. From 1993 until 2011, he was half-time Associate Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Sydney, where he was director of the Master’s training program in Periodontics. He is a consultant periodontist in the Royal Australian Army Dental Corps, a board member of the Australian Periodontology Research Foundation, a member of the Therapeutic Guidelines Endocarditis Prophylaxis expert group and current chair of the ADA Dental Therapeutics Committee. He has over 50 scientific publications and his research areas include bacteraemia of oral origin.
