Children- practical tips to examine and treat
A lecture full of clinical hints and clinical cases to help child appointments be simple, productive, fun for the child and whole the dental team. You will learn simple rules to follow, updates on fluoride toothpastes that don’t taste minty, restorative options including GA, basic ortho referral parameters, Molar Incisal Hypomineralisation and its impact on the adult dentition, why children’s decay is increasing, and some essential basic items to have in your toolbox when examining and treating children.
Dr Mary-anne Slater
Mary-anne has been practicing as a general dentist in Wagga Wagga for 40 years. Mary-anne also lectures and tutors’ final year CSU dental students. Her practice has a strong paediatric focus, with child patients referred to her from both within and out of Wagga for treatment under GA.
