My research experience includes constructing the ethics submission for an experimental study under the supervision of Prof. Skapetis and Prof. Alffenaar. The project, “Evaluating the feasibility of saliva as a new matrix for therapeutic drug monitoring: A prospective observational study”, explores saliva as a potential alternative to blood for drug monitoring. The clinical opportunities I had at CSU allowed me to see a wide range of patients across uni clinics and hospitals throughout NSW. Coupled with my travels in Southeast Asia, I’ve developed a keen recognition that oral health is interdependent with overall physical and mental health.

My clinical experience involves clinical placements at Orange and Wagga Wagga university clinics, three months placement at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital and a two-week rotation in Brewarrina where I’ve had experience servicing a variety of rural communities.
