The role

About you

A bachelor or doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline including Dental Science, Dental Surgery and/ or Dental Medicine.
Registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra)
Relevant experience with at least four years’ clinical practice.
Ability to satisfy and maintain a Working with Children Check, a current first aid certificate and vaccination status documentation.

About the role

Hunter Dental Group is seeking an experienced Dentist to join our team in East Maitland and Dungog, NSW. This is a contract position, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, providing high-quality dental care to our patients. As an Experienced Dentist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dental services and contributing to the continued success of our practice.

What you’ll be doing

· Conducting routine dental examinations and procedures, including fillings, extractions, and root canal treatments
· Educating patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
· Collaborating with the dental team to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care
· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
· Adhering to all relevant dental and safety regulations
· Crown/Bridge plus Implants.

What we’re looking for

· Dental degree and current registration with the Dental Board of Australia.

· Minimum 2 years of experience

· Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients
· Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
· Attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement
· Australian work rights are required for this position

A position has opened up at our busy practice for an Associate Dentist role working 2 days per week.
