This course equips practitioners with the skills and confidence necessary for successful
oral surgery practice by integrating theory, planning, and techniques. It is designed for
general dentists who wish to learn or refresh beginner to intermediate surgical skills,
enhancing their confidence in everyday surgical dentistry and the management of
complications.
The course will evaluate the key considerations in decision making at various stages of
treatment, and teach correct surgical instrumentation and techniques. It will also cover
the management of complications and medico-legal risks.
