Solutions for delivering endodontic treatment excellence
Over the past decade there has been substantial growth in technological advancements that have impacted the field of endodontics, most of which have improved treatment outcomes, simplified endodontic procedures, and reduced patient chair time.
To meet the challenges of clinical demands in the technology age, participants will learn how to apply a variety of innovative technologies to produce more predictable outcomes. This course is targeted at practitioners who are wanting to improve clinical results, efficiency, scope of practice, and professional satisfaction with endodontics.
A portion of the course will be devoted to hands on exercises where the attendees will learn to apply a variety of technological advancements in a systematic approach.
Topics
- Don’t practice in the dark ages – why understanding technology matters.
- Assessment and diagnosis: discuss appropriate methods for making an accurate diagnosis.
- CBCT, why diagnosis in 3D reduces iatrogenic errors.
- Single visit treatment, how cutting-edge instrumentation/disinfection protocols drive clinical efficiencies.
- Obturation simplified: the hydraulic condensation technique using a master cone and bioceramic sealer
- Treatment options for the compromised tooth: including the placement of a dual cured core
- When to refer? Analyse difficult case scenarios to determine anatomical limitations of success
