The General Dentist’s Guide to Tissue Stability and Implant Success

From Extraction to Long-Term Maintenance of Teeth and Dental Implants: What Every Dentist Should Know
This session is designed for general dentists to bridge the gap between surgical possibilities and everyday clinical practice. We will move beyond the “how-to” of surgery and focus on the biological “why”. By understanding the fundamentals of hard and soft tissue augmentation, general dentists can better predict aesthetic outcomes, reduce restorative complications, and increase patient satisfaction.
We will demystify common procedures like Guided Bone Regeneration, Guided Tissue Regeneration, sinus grafting, and recession coverage, providing you with the tools to identify higher-risk cases early. Additionally, we will cover the general dentist’s critical role in the “early warning system” for peri-implant disease, ensuring that implants you place and/or restore stay healthy and long-term.
