We’re seeking an experienced dental assistant and a receptionist to join our team. You will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth running of our practice.

Dental assistant duties

• Assist the dentist with various procedures including hygiene, fillings, RCT, crowns and implant surgery
• Reprocessing and sterilisation of the instruments
• At least 3 years’ experience as a DA in Australia
• Experience in orthodontics and implant surgery is highly regarded.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Availability 5 days a week.

Receptionist duties

• Take phone call enquiries
• Schedule patients’ appointments
• Correspond with other health professionals
• Process payments, private health insurance and Medicare claims
• Co-ordinate complex dental treatments between the clinicians and patients
• Process finance applications for payment plans using National Dental plans
• Updating training manuals and practice policies 
• Proficiency in D4W
• Customer service-oriented with genuine interest in dentistry and patient care.

Coonamble Dental Surgery is the only dental clinic in town with the next clinic being over 100kms away. We are a not-for-profit organisation providing primary healthcare and community services to our Indigenous community. Our surgery is seeking a Permanent Dentist immediately but are open to Locum Dentists to fill the void. All applicants will be considered, and terms of placement are negotiable.

FULL BOOKS plus ACCOMODATION plus WORK VEHICLE

• Salary or commission:

1. Salary of $140 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation; or
2. Commission of 45%.

• Dentist required in our modern and well equipped busy country practice in Central Western NSW. 
• Must have ability to practice independently in all facets of general dentistry and proficiency in Oral Surgery.
• Must be patient focused and possess excellent communication skills.
• Our practice is well established with a large solid patient base and the successful applicant will be taking over a full book.
• Operating hours are 8:15am – 4.45pm Monday-Friday but are negotiable.
• Remuneration is either salary or commission based.
• Position includes accommodation, work vehicle plus utility expenses covered. 
• You will be supported by friendly staff with experience in assisting and practice management.
• Must have current AHPRA Registration and current Professional Indemnity Insurance.
• Must have current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Must have National Criminal History Check.
• Our practice is situated in a township between the Warrumbungle National Park and the Macquarie Marshes. The township has two Child Care Centres, two Pre Schools, two Primary Schools and a High School as well as strong sporting clubs and service groups plus a full calendar of events throughout the year.

A position has opened up at our busy practice for an Associate Dentist role working 2 days per week.

We are a well-established, busy, and modern dental practice located in Sylvania in the Sutherland Shire. The position takes over the role of a long-standing and fully booked associate dentist who has made a career decision to relocate interstate.

What we’re looking for:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in private practice in Australia;
• Excellent communication and interpersonnel skills;
• Ability to manage and treat 10-12 patients daily;
• Friendly and approachable who always places the patients’ needs first; and
• Current AHPRA registration (without restrictions) and current professional indemnity insurance.
