With a passion in healthcare, Dr CeCe Chan initially practiced as a dietitian at Nepean Hospital before transitioning into dentistry. Her academic journey took her to the University of Sydney, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2015. She practiced as a general dentist for over five years in various fields including the public sector at Westmead Centre of Oral Health and in private practices in Brisbane and Canberra before pursuing her specialist endodontic training at the University of Queensland.
CeCe’s thesis delved into innovations in nickel titanium technology in endodontics and is a recognised publication in a peer-reviewed journal. She is a Fellow in General Dental Practice and a Member in Specialist Dental Practice of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. She is also a current member of the Australian Society of Endodontology, Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists and American Association of Endodontists. Outside of the clinical practice, CeCe continues to provide lectures at the University of Queensland to dental students.
Having relocated to Newcastle with her partner, CeCe is eager to explore everything that Newcastle has to offer. Beyond her professional pursuits, she finds joy in travel and going skiing.
