Dr Rashi Garg is an Australian trained and registered Specialist Oral Surgeon.
She graduated from dental school at Griffith University in Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science and Graduate Diploma in Dentistry. After graduation, Rashi moved to Sydney and gained significant experience as a general dentist in the public and private sector.
Wanting to develop her passion for surgery, she gained a position as a surgical resident working within the Department of Oral Surgery. Rashi went on to complete further postgraduate studies and received her specialist training in both the Graduate Diploma in Surgical Dentistry and the Clinical Doctorate in Oral Surgery through the University of Sydney.
Rashi maintains active involvement in professional organisations, participates in continuing education, including mentoring the future generation of dentists. Dr Garg holds a senior lecturer position with The University of Sydney, Sydney Dental School where she continues to advise and mentor both dental students and post graduate surgical trainees. She has a special interest in medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ).
