For significant service to dentistry.

Congratulations to ADA NSW member Dr Thomas Tseng AM who has been awarded an AM in the Australia Day Honours List.

The award acknowledges his service to the dental profession, and to the health and wellbeing of the wider Australian community.

“I am honoured to receive the award and would like to thank my family for allowing me to put in the time to work with all the different organisations that I have been associated with, my work colleagues for covering for me when I’m out of the practice, my patients for still sticking with me despite sometimes having to wait a while to get an appointment and for those people that nominated me for the award,” he said.

“I have met a lot of great people during my time with the various organisations and this is one of the reasons that I continue to be involved with these organisations.”

Dr Tseng’s achievements include the following:

• President, Australasian Section (Section VIII), International College of Dentists, retired in May 2025.
• Dentist/Partner, Kincumber Dental Care, current.
