From Simple to Complex Cases
This comprehensive full-day scientific and clinical program is designed for dental professionals seeking to enhance their expertise in modern periodontal therapy and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Total Control: A Hands-on Masterclass in Periodontal Excellence from Simple to Complex Cases combines evidence-based scientific lectures with intensive hands-on training to provide participants with practical skills that can be immediately applied in clinical practice.
The morning session features two in-depth scientific lectures delivered by Dr Matthias Rzeznik. The program begins with an exploration of the biological principles that underpin periodontal preservation and regeneration, providing a foundation for predictable clinical outcomes. Participants will gain insight into contemporary clinical decision-making and evidence-based approaches to managing periodontal conditions across a spectrum of case complexities. The second lecture focuses on the integration of ultrasonic technologies in modern periodontal and surgical practice, including clinical protocols designed to optimise long-term treatment outcomes.
In the afternoon, the program shifts to an immersive hands-on training session. Participants will gain practical experience with ultrasonic and air polishing technologies using the Newtron and Opus systems. Bench exercises are designed to help clinicians refine precision instrumentation while preserving soft tissue and ensuring patient comfort.
The session concludes with hands-on training in piezosurgery using the Piezotome Cube. Through realistic anatomical simulations using animal jaw, participants will practice bone-cutting techniques and atraumatic tooth extraction, highlighting minimally invasive approaches, better surgical control, and improved healing outcomes.
