Join Dr Omar Ikram for a pre-Convention workshop on Thursday 13 August at the Charles Sturt University simulation clinic and discover innovative techniques to manage calcified canals.
Course Overview
The most frequent cause of failure of root canal treatment is unlocated and therefore un-instrumented root canal anatomy. The challenge of root canal treatment is not so much preparation of a patent root canal, but location and negotiation of these difficult to find root canals.
Discover innovative techniques and strategies to access calcified cavities in this original hands-on course, presented by world-renowned Endodontist, Dr Omar Ikram.
This hands-on course provides the opportunity to use microscopes and various tools to locate and negotiate calcified root canals. In addition, experience using a nickel–titanium (NiTi) preparation system after the canals have been negotiated.
This course is suitable for general dentists, new Endodontists and post-graduate Endodontic students.
