Dr Joseph Lee is a specialist periodontist. He maintains a private practice in the Sydney CBD, Parramatta and Gosford, focused on implant surgery and the treatment of periodontal disease. He is a Clinical Educator in Periodontology with the University of Sydney and is a surgical mentor for the Graduate Diploma of Implant Dentistry programs with the University of Sydney and Charles Sturt University. He is a past President of the Australian Society of Periodontology (NSW branch).
Joseph graduated from dentistry in 2002. Since then, he has held various positions in the public and private sectors in general dentistry. In addition, he was a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in England before returning and completing his specialist training in periodontology in 2010. His research in dental implants and peri-implant disease has been published in the Clinical Oral Implants Research journal and is widely cited.
