Our History

ADA NSW Moxham Cup

Recognised as one of the highlights on the dental profession’s social calendar, the ADA NSW Moxham Cup is a long-standing annual golf event hosted by the Australian Dental Association NSW Branch.

First established in 1929 by Sydney dentist Dr Harry Moxham, the event features competitive yet friendly 18-hole golf, with participants competing for the historic Moxham Cup trophy originally donated by Dr Moxham.

The day typically includes a shotgun start, structured networking opportunities, a hosted lunch, and an awards presentation, bringing together dental professionals from across New South Wales to foster collegiality and professional connection beyond the clinical setting.

ADA NSW membership is required to be eligible to contend for the Moxham Cup.
