Periodontal Treatment Planning: An Up-to-Date, Evidence-Based Step-by-Step Approach
This presentation will provide a clear, evidence-based, step-by-step approach to periodontal treatment planning, utilising the latest European Federation of Periodontal (EFP) S3-level clinical clinical practice guideline (CPG) for the treatment of periodontitis. General dentists will gain confidence in managing periodontitis effectively in general practice and recognise when referral to a specialist periodontist is indicated. To enable general dentists to effectively apply the latest EFP CPG in periodontal assessment and treatment planning, improving the quality and clarity of referrals to periodontists and ensuring optimal, evidence-based patient care.
About the Speaker:
Dr Judd Sher is the principal periodontist at Penrith Periodontics (formerly Specialist Periodontal and Implants Centre). Dr Sher completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University in Cairns, with Honours, receiving the Australian Society of Periodontology Medallion and leading him to complete his postgraduate Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Periodontics) at the University of Sydney. Trained under Prof Axel Spahr and Prof Tino Mercado, Dr Sher is committed to delivering the highest standard of periodontal and implant care.
