In the inaugural session of the Oral Cancer Masterclass Series, Professor Carsten Palme and Associate Professor Mark Schifter will provide an in-depth exploration of head and neck examination techniques, emphasising the critical role of dental practitioners in early oral cancer screening and detection.

What we’ll cover:

Oral Cancer Masterclass Series – Session One begins with a presentation from one of NSW’s leading Head and Neck surgeons, Professor Carsten Palme, and an introduction to the Masterclass and the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.

Following on from this, the discussion will focus on how to perform a comprehensive head, neck and oral mucosal examination, the importance of a dental practitioner’s role in the early assessment of a patient with malignant or potentially malignant lesions of the oral cavity, and oral cancer screening and detection techniques.

Lecture Room:
Various room configurations available.

Hired with operator for audio or video recording and/or live broadcast.

Board Room:
Executive style room with Zoom & 360° camera.
