World Oral Health Day
World Oral Health Day is recognised every 20 March and this year's theme is 'Live Mouth Smart', empowering people to take control of their oral health throughout life so they can enjoy a healthy, functional mouth from childhood into old age.
Recognising the early warning signs of oral disease including tooth decay, gum disease and oral cancer and controlling modifiable risk factors such as unhealthy diet, tobacco use, alcohol excess and poor oral hygiene are outlined in a range of prevention central resources you can share in your practice.
