White Ribbon Day 25 November and the Rebuilding Smiles Program

25 November is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, also known as White Ribbon Day.

On this day, Australian dentists are being recognised for their key role in restoring the smiles and confidence of domestic violence survivors in Australia. Through the Rebuilding Smiles program, volunteer dentists provide much-needed dental care to victims, assisting them to rebuild their lives. ADA Inc has issued a media release detailing the success of the program and published an article sharing one woman's life changing experience made possible due to its support.

The Australian Dental Health Foundation (ADHF) needs more volunteers in NSW to assist in providing treatment for victims of domestic violence. If you would like to be part of the Rebuilding Smiles movement, please get in touch and register your interest at info@adhf.org.au or contact ADA Inc directly on (02) 9906 4412.
