
Congratulations 2020 Winners!
Congratulations to Orange-based Dr Amy Calvin (top left) and Sydney-based Dr Denise Hsueh (top right) who have been chosen by the judging panel as the winner and runners-up respectively of the 2020 ADA NSW BOQ Specialist Recent Graduate Bursary.
Dr Calvin and Dr Hsueh were awarded the $5,000 first prize and the $2,500 runners-up prize (valued at a total of $7,500) to spend on professional development at a NSW Centre for Professional Development (CPD) course of their choice.

About the Bursary:
Helping a young dentist to thrive in their career
ADA NSW and BOQ Specialist have had a longstanding relationship supporting the dental profession. As part of this partnership, they launched the Bursary for recent graduates.
Two Bursary Awards will be awarded this year including one $5,000 first prize and one $2,500 runners-up prize (valued at a total of $7,500) to spend on professional development at ADA NSW CPD.
The Bursary recognises a recent graduate who has gone above and beyond by demonstrating a commitment to high quality ongoing professional development.
The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate that commitment and outline a clear path as to how the Bursary will advance their career.
Key Dates and Information
- 3 August 2020: Entries open. Download 2020 Information Kit and Application Form Complete all of the sections on the form, including the personal career and CPD plan and dental practice CPD log.
- 30 September 2020: Entries officially close.
- 21 October 2020: Two Bursary Awards awarded including one $5,000 first prize and one $2,500 runners-up prize (valued at a total of $7,500) to spend on professional development at ADA NSW CPD.
