This course will provide you with knowledge and practical tools to recognise and manage the oral and dental needs of medically complex dental patients. Case-based learning will be used to simulate the setting in a dental office, and to stimulate the discussion.
The course will also review current knowledge about oral complications in cancer patients. The presentations will emphasize topics with practical implications for general dental practitioners. Recent advances in the diagnosis and management of common oral complications of cancer or cancer therapy will be presented.
