This ‘Masterclass’ provides you with the unique opportunity to undertake surgical extractions with direct and discrete expert clinical support and advice. You will bring one of your patients to our clinical facility and Specialist Oral Surgeons will be available to work alongside you as you carry out the procedure. Dentists will bring their own dental assistant to assist in the procedure.
This program is intended to be interactive and attendees are encouraged to bring cases, instruments and enthusiasm. As these are small group sessions registrants will agree to have their contact details shared between the group to enhance the learning opportunity this Masterclass provides. However total confidentiality for patients and clinicians is assured.
Attendees will work in pairs and provide treatment for one of their own patients during the day. Potential patients must be discussed with Dr Leesa Rix at least 2 weeks preceding the course. It is anticipated that attendees will treat patients who require surgical removal of upper and lower premolar and molar teeth (excluding third molars). Full details of logistics and a list of instruments required will be provided on registration.
