Rachel is currently in the last year of her PhD at the University of Sydney where she is using embryonic stem cells to understand nervous system development of the early embryo. After completing her Bachelor of Medical Science at The University of Sydney in 2011, she undertook a year of honours in embryonic stem cell research, which continued into her current PhD from 2013. Rachel has tutored undergraduate physiology lab classes at the university, and in 2015, she was employed as Manager of the NSW Stem Cell Network.
