Dr Arruni Kandasamy graduated from the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2019 from the University of Sydney. She currently works in a private practice in Dubbo, NSW. Originally from Sydney, Arruni chose a career in rural dentistry after her challenging yet stimulating rural placement experience during her time at university. Arruni is highly passionate about helping her community and being a voice for her peers. This is reflected in her time as an active member of the Sydney University Dental Association (SUDA), particularly in her final year as President. Arruni is also highly passionate about helping her community and has involved herself in many volunteer opportunities such as Sydney Homeless Connect, Carevan SunSmiles and Tzu Chi Free Dental Fair, and developed oral health promotion programs for preschools and aged care facilities. Arruni looks forward to bringing her knowledge and skills to represent her peers as part of the Recent Graduates Committee.
